MY VIEWS AND ISSUES:
PRO-LIFE:
Life begins at conception, and abortion is murder. I will fight to protect unborn lives while in the legislature and defend God's creations.
PRO-SECOND AMENDMENT:
As the son of an outdoorsman, I will protect our citizens' rights to own a gun, to hunt, defend themselves, their families, and their households, just as our Founding Fathers intended.
PROTECTING OUR VALUES AND TRADITION:
Our families, values, and way of life are extremely important in Appalachia. As a Christian, it is part of my duty to valiantly defend the traditional lifestyle. This includes keeping men out of women's restrooms and sports, and vice versa.
PRO-BUSINESS:
The solution to making West Virginia's economy healthier is supporting market and competition-friendly policies on the state level. This, in turn, improves not only the economy of the state but the average person's quality of life.
BETTER ROADS AND UTILITIES:
In Southern West Virginia, we deserve better roads, clean water, and reliable electricity and internet. As a delegate, I will do everything in my power to fight for our region to have these things by holding those responsible for poor service and high bills accountable, and diverting funding to our area.
FIX EDUCATION:
It is no secret that West Virginia ranks consistently low in education. Being on a school board gave me insight into the unnecessary bureaucracy and other hindrances to our children's education. We need legislators working together to reform our education system for the better, and I will do just that.
